PRESS RELEASE

Launch of the NEW Tinnitus Support Group at
Bradwell Lodge Community Centre, Porthill, Newcastle-under-Lyme

DEAFvibe a local Deaf Charity in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent recently awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service continues to grow from strength to strength.

Following the successful completion of the Tinnitus Advisors Training Course held by the British Tinnitus Association in Sheffield, DEAFvibe is proud to announce that it will be launching its new Tinnitus Support Group. The monthly Group will be held at the Bradwell Lodge Community Centre, Bradwell Lane, Porthill, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 8PS on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10am to 12noon.

This informal group welcomes everybody who suffers from Tinnitus, their family, friends or carers and any individual who would like to learn more about Tinnitus, how to manage it and to develop new coping strategies.

At the first meeting, our Tinnitus Training Advisor will introduce the members to DEAFvibe and set out the plans for future meetings as well as ideas for members to discuss.

A small attendance fee of £2.50 is payable. The Advisor’s services are provided on a voluntary basis.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday 13th November 2014 at 10am.

To register your interest and receive a proposed programme of activities, you can e-mail awarenesscourses@deafvibe.co.uk or contact 07516 422560 for more information.
