Carmarthenshire County Council - Providing Information to the Deaf Community

Introducing the i-Local facility, the Council want Deaf residents to know about their deaf friendly services

Hefyd mae'r cyfleuster Fy Nghartref yn rhoi gwybod i bobl lle mae'r pethau agosaf atyn nhw megis ysgolion, meddygfeydd, meysydd parcio, llyfrgelloedd, cylchoedd chwarae, canolfannau ailgylchu a llawer o wasanaethau eraill.

Lluniwyd y safle er mwyn ei gwneud yn haws i bobl gysylltu â'r Cyngor yn ystod oriau swyddfa ac ar adegau eraill.

Gallant dalu eu treth gyngor neu eu trethi busnes ar-lein, archebu a thalu am fin compost, neu drefnu i'w nwyddau swmpus gael eu casglu.

Gellir gwneud cais ar Lleol-i am nifer o bethau gan gynnwys atgyweiriadau tai, grantiau cyfleusterau i'r anabl, biliau treth gyngor newydd, aelodaeth canolfan hamdden ac amserlenni bysiau.

Gall trigolion roi gwybod am broblemau fel tipio anghyfreithlon, baw cŵn, gollwng sbwriel, twyll budd-daliadau, ymddygiad gwrthgymdeithasol, goleuadau stryd diffygiol a llawer o bethau eraill ar-lein.

Gall pobl ymuno â Fy Rhybuddion i gael y wybodaeth ddiweddaraf am wasanaethau lleol.

Hefyd gellir cael atebion ar y safle i gwestiynau cyffredin megis a yw'n wythnos casglu bagiau du neu fagiau glas.

Mae Lleol-i yn ategu adran newydd ar-lein Y Newyddion sy'n cynnwys erthyglau a lluniau ynghylch amrywiaeth eang o wasanaethau a datblygiadau gan y Cyngor.

Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Pam Palmer, yr Aelod o'r Bwrdd Gweithredol dros Gyfathrebu: "Mae Lleol-i yn brosiect cyffrous i'r Cyngor Sir ac yn gyfle rhagorol i drigolion gael mynediad i lawer o wasanaethau yn Sir Gâr bob awr o'r dydd a'r nos.

"Mae mwy a mwy o wybodaeth ddefnyddiol yn cael ei rhoi ar ein gwefan drwy'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol a Lleol-i sy'n galluogi trigolion i gysylltu â ni yn y ffordd sydd fwyaf hwylus iddyn nhw."

iLocal 

Save time - do it online. That’s the message from Carmarthenshire County Council.

A digital campaign has been launched to encourage more people to contact the council via the iLocal pages on the website, and social media.

Whatever people want to do – whether it is to pay for a service, report something, or find out information – it is available online.

The My House feature also lets people know where their nearest things are, such as schools, surgeries, car parks, libraries, playgroups, recycling centres and a whole host of other services.

The site has been designed to make it easier for people to contact the council both during and outside office hours.

They can pay their council tax or business rates online, order and pay for a compost bin, or arrange collection of bulky goods.

Requests can be made on iLocal for a number of things including housing repairs, disabled facilities grants, new council tax bills, leisure centre memberships and bus timetables.

Residents can report issues such as flytipping, dog fouling, littering, benefit fraud, anti-social behaviour, faulty street lights and many other things online.

People can sign up to alerts if they wish to be kept updated on local services and informationAnswers to frequently asked questions such as whether it’s a black or blue bin collection week can also be found on the site.

The iLocal complements the new online Newsroom which contains articles and photographs on a wide range of council services and developments.

People can also follow @carmscouncil on Twitter or like CarmarthenshireCC on Facebook for news and information.

Executive board member for communications Cllr Pam Palmer said: “iLocal is an exciting project for the county council and an excellent opportunity to allow residents to access a lot of services in Carmarthenshire 24/7.

“More and more useful information is being presented on our website via social media and iLocal which allows residents to contact us in the way that supports them.”
